The Queensland Conservatorium, established in 1957, has built up a reputation as one of Australia’s most advanced tertiary music schools. Every year over 250 performances are held featuring anything from acting and musical theatre to classical and jazz bands.
One of these productions in 2021 at the University, required a multi-level walkway structure to be built as part of the set to support two productions over the course of 8 weeks.
Brisbane Scaffold Hire was approached to give life to the vision.
Utilizing the Proscaf Public Access system and their previous experience with similar public access compliant projects, the team designed, installed, and commissioned a four-level, multi-directional, free standing scaffold structure. The scaffold was topped off with a slip resistant flooring and continuous handrails.
The expert installation by Brisbane Scaffold Hire and high-quality finish of the Proscaf system ensured that the client was impressed with the rock-solid stability and excellent aesthetic of the scaffold.
