SafeSmart launches a business support programme for selected New Zealand scaffolding companies.
For scaffolding businesses, the practical skills and knowledge required to design and erect scaffolds that are safe for their users and compliant to legislative regulations are paramount. But is that all that is required? Most scaffolding companies would agree it is not.
Being successful in any business requires skills and knowledge that reach far beyond the mere plying of one’s trade. Pitching for business, managing cash and finances, training and retaining staff, and going the extra mile to exceed the expectations of customers are just a few of the many functions crucial to allow a business to thrive.
SafeSmart Programme For Scaffolding Business Owners
At SafeSmart Access, we understand that the scaffolding businesses that display the passion and drive to constantly improve their business practices and acumen are also our ideal customers. We want to support and nurture this kind of customer so that we can both thrive and succeed! So late last year we launched a nurturing programme called PROSCAF PLATINUM PARTNERS.
The programme was launched in November 2019 on the official opening day for SafeSmart Access’s new Auckland yard at 52 Cryers Road, Highbrooke. Around 40 selected scaffolding business owners and managers attended a seminar at the new Auckland yard, which included presentations around cash flow, finance, time management and sales skills. This was followed by an excellent lunch and drinks on SafeSmart’s ticket.
In addition to ongoing exclusive events like this, further assistance offered to our PROSCAF PLATINUM PARTNERS includes free design drawings, priority access to purchase of ex-rental equipment, and assistance in producing marketing material such as videos, blogs and brochure design.
As in any partnership, this is a two-way street, and from time to time, we will also ask our PROSCAF PLATINUM PARTNERS for assistance. By evaluating and trialling potential new product concepts, these companies can provide us with constructive feedback on their potential value to the market.
By SafeSmart Access partnering with those scaffolding businesses who are consistently working on improving their business skills and processes, and supporting them in this way, we predict positive outcomes with mutual benefit for all involved.
